What are Succulents?

Put it simply, succulents are drought tolerant plants as they can store water.

The word succulent comes from the Latin word sucus, meaning ‘juice’, or ‘sap’. Succulent plants may store water in various structures, such as leaves and stems. Some succulent species can cope well indoors as feature plants because of their striking appearance as well as their ability to thrive with relatively minimal care. It’s no wonder succulents have been become very popular over the years and make an excellent plant gift for those who don’t have green thumbs.
